Directions
Badami chicken is a simple chicken curry enriched with the goodness of almonds, as the name suggests. This recipe does not require a whole lot of ingredients, but it has a unique aroma with a very distinct flavor. It gets its sweetness from the almonds and tanginess from the curd. It is a dish that will give you the delectable taste with the goodness of protein and the essential fats. Enjoy this creamy chicken with roti or butter garlic naan.

In the same wok, add a tbsp of oil. When it turns hot, add the chicken with the marinade and cook it on medium to high flame for 2-3 mins. Now turn the flame to medium, cover and cook for 20 mins, stirring in between. It will be a little runny at this stage. Remove the lid at this point and cook until the gravy has thickened, this will take about 8-10 mins. Once the gravy thickens, add the garam masala powder and Kasuri methi. Mix well, cover and cook it on low flame for 2 mins. |
